I’m 27 already… wait, what?

I’m 27 now, could you believe? I’m still not convinced that I’m at this age already. But it’s a truth that I can’t ignore anymore haha. I felt 16 like yesterday, and now I’m here. I have mixed feelings about the fact that I am now in my late twenties. Whoa! The next thing I know, I might be married already.

Anyway, I’ll grab this time to share photos from my birthday celebration this year. I’m not really a big birthday celebrant, and my last big celebration was when I was 17. After that, I treat my birthday as an ordinary day, except that the gratitude in my heart is overflowing more than on any other day in my life. I am grateful for the wonderful chance to live this amazing life.

Every year, I celebrate my birthday with my family at home. But this year, I celebrated at karaoke with my mama and brother-in-law as our birthdays are close together. I’m so excited because it was the first time I celebrated my birthday away from home.

Everything was perfect. My sister ordered this adorable cake from @theplanter.my. Those pastries were also bought from the same store. They are quite delicious!

We booked a family room at Karaoke Manekineko. It includes free-flow drinks and snacks. I can take as many as I like! The room also has a playground, which keeps my niece entertained while we sing our hearts out for 3 hours!

I’m happy I not only celebrated my birthday but also had some quality time with my family. My family is not perfect for sure, but it is exactly the group of people that I perfectly need in this lifetime. If I could choose a few people to celebrate my birthday with, it would always be them.
